          Our mothers provide us with a sense of security by rescuing us from any issues. She seems unconcerned about her personal difficulties and is always listening to us. The second Sunday of May month has been designed as Mother's Day to honor her. This is a significant event for us and our mothers. On Mother's Day, we should make our mothers happy rather than sad. We must constantly obey her and perform our duties properly. She is continually striving to make us better people in life.

          Mothers’ contribution to society is unmatchable. Motherhood is the greatest gift of God to humanity. Every mother goes to great lengths to ensure the happiness and contentment of her family and children. There is no one who can match a mother's strength, love, and sacrifice. The least we can do to honor her is to celebrate her virtues through the events of a day.

          Every youngster wishes to honor their mother on Mother's Day in a unique way. Some bring their mothers gifts, some cook for them, and some buy cakes for them. Some people go out to enjoy it, while others commemorate it at home. Handmade gifts, above all other pricey gifts or items, always have a special place in our mothers' hearts. Some people spend quality time with their mothers by taking them out for a day.


          A single day celebration is not enough to express gratitude to all of the world's mothers, we should make everyday as special as Mother's Day to shower our love upon our mothers. At any cost, no one can ever replace them. No more gift can be more special to a mother than her children's love and respect. So let us make a promise to make every day special for our mothers and to fill her days with love and joy.

Importance of taking part in NSED

              We all know, that Philippines is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Because of our location, we are prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions caused by the movement of tectonic plates. We conduct different programs and activities in preperation for an earthquake. One of these is the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). It is initiated by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) through the Office of Civil Defense in an effort to "continuously instill to the public earthquake preparedness amid the pandemic."             Although we cannot be able to prevent natural earthquakes from occuring, we can lessen the effects by using early warning systems, building safer structures, providing education on earthquake safety and implementing plans to help recover in case of an earthquake.
