Equality and Unity

Women's empowerment refers to giving women the power to make decisions for themselves. Women have endured a great deal at the hands of men over the years. They were viewed like they didn't exist in previous centuries. As if all rights, including the right to vote, belonged to men. Women became more aware of their power as time passed and the revolution for women's empowerment started there.                      Women's empowerment came as a breath of fresh air because they were not able to make choices for themselves. It made them aware of their rights and how to make their own path in society rather than relying on a man. It acknowledged that things do not always work in someone's favor solely because of their gender. There are different ways to empower women. Individuals and the government must work together to achieve this. Girls' education should be made compulsory so that they do not be...

3rd Quarter Experiences

Image
During the third quarter, I learned several things related to my own place because we are tasked to do a community-based research. I also learned how to create a Sitemap for my project. There are different challenges or distractions I faced while studying. But I thought myself that challenge is part of everyday life, without them, life will be meaningless.           Because of our task, I learned that community-based research is necessary to remove the various social, cultural, and logistical barriers that confound the well-intentioned efforts of many public health programs. I learned some important information that I barely knew about my place even if it's my hometown. I also learned a lot of new things this quarter aside from the community-based research, like the several things related to the process of learning. For example, intellectual abilities and artistic abilities go hand-in-hand. This quarter was quite d...

This leaves us with only one option: an effective and safe vaccine that will be created as soon as possible and made available at a cheap price to all countries and people affected by the pandemic.           Different brand of vaccines against COVID-19 are already available in the Philippines. They conducted clinical trials of all COVID vaccines to first show that they are safe and effective before they authorized or approved it for use. Here are some of the information about the vaccines against COVID-19. It is both safe and effective. You may experienc...

The Day of Valor

Image
The Day of Valor, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan, honors the bravery of Filipinos and American soldiers during World War II when the Philippines was invaded by the Japanese. With this year's theme, "Kagitingan ay Gawing Gabay, Pandemya ay Mapagtatagumpayan," the celebration also serves as a reminder that, just as our Filipino veterans defended our country during the war, we can resolve our ongoing fight against COVID-19 through sheer courage and determination.            Several promotional activities are held in time for the celebration. There are series of virtual commemorative events held like the Sunrise Wreath-Laying Ceremony on 5 April at 8:00 am. A Tribute to All Filipino Heroes was held on 7 April at 9:00 am to honor all Filipino heroes, patriots, martyrs, and defenders who fought and died for the country’s freedom. On the actual day of the observance of Araw ng Kagitinga...
