Celebrating My Valentine's Day
February is known as the month of love and romance. Valentine's day is celebrated as a day of expressing love between families and friends, romantic couples and of course to yourself. Many restaurants have dinner promotion on Valentine's day and the food often presented with symbols of love such as flowers and hearts. Some people give greeting cards, jewelry, chocolate or flowers, particularly roses, to their partners or admirers on Valentine’s Day.
Every year, I celebrates Valentine's Day with my family. If we failed to express our love for them, Valentine's day is the best opportunity to express it. We celebrated it with eating and bonding together. We didn't have a grand celebration yet it's full of love and very meaningful. I also spent some alone time with myself. Even if there's a pandemic, we celebrated valentine's happy and contented. Having a special partner isn't the only aspect of love. It's also about loving and embracing the good things in life.
Humanity thrives on love and its life celebrations. It’s the mortar that binds world peace, compassion and tolerance. Regardless how Valentine’s Day is practiced, love is the focal point. It is the primary emotion that makes us human and makes life so interesting.
